Located in Port Dover, Ontario, Shore Acres Park is a private RV and Trailer Park that sits on 25 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with mature trees and boasts a private beach on the shore of Lake Erie.

We are located minutes from downtown Port Dover where you can enjoy Lighthouse Festival Theatre, wineries, golf courses, shopping, recreational fishing, marinas, restaurants, beaches, bike trails, hiking trails, zip lining, bird watching, horseback riding, tennis and local home grown produce (blueberries, peaches, apples, pumpkins, pears, etc.).

Shore Acres Park operates from May 1 to October 30 each year. We provide a relaxing 6 month seasonal and overnight vacation experience that the whole family will love.

Surrounded by Ontario’s South Coast natural beauty and shallow warm waters of Lake Erie, Shore Acres Park has a tranquil atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

Enjoy evening s’mores by your own campfire, relax on our private groomed beach and swim in Lake Erie’s warm waters. Watch your children or grandchildren play at the park while overlooking the lake, enjoy family picnics or games on our many large grassed areas, stay active in our new fitness center, or enjoy reading in our recreation room with community library and WiFi hotspot. Stay for the season or for a weekend.

Shore Acres Park began as a traditional campground for tents, but with improvements it has become a long-standing trailer and RV park. Gordon Ivey, the Founder, spent many years developing and improving Shore Acres Park. He planted many species of trees native to the Carolinian Forest, offered large green space areas, sandy beachfront and beautiful gardens. Gordon was an active and respected member of his Port Dover community. Gordon passed away in 2013 in his 94th year.

Since Gordon's time, Shore Acres Park has been operating as a two generation-family owned business. Marnie and Warren, along with their friendly staff, enjoy working with people, the outdoors and community. They look forward to improving and maintaining the gorgeous park that Gordon established for those who love a peaceful, relaxing camping experience.

For generations, their family has owned and operated farmland across Hamilton and the Niagara Peninsula. They sold our beloved peach farm in 2014 and purchased Shore Acres Park in April of 2015.

They have grown attached to the beauty that surrounds this area.
